Econock partners with Rheom Materials, a Texas-based innovator in biobased materials, to introduced a capsule collection in Shorai™, Rheom’s 91% biobased leather alternative.
Desigining for everyday life
To mark the collaboration, Econock developed a ten-piece capsule collection constructed entirely in Shorai™.
Rather than presenting biobased material as novelty, the capsule integrates next-gen innovation into everyday life, not as experiment, but as lived experience.
The design narrative draws from archival imagery of Texas and the Indian armoured warriors; the capsule embodies the spirit of confidence and quiet strength.
Material Testing, Feedback & Product Prototyping
We undertook performance testing on exhaustive list of parameters including stretchabilty, cutting behaviour, wastage, compatability with tools and machinery, embossing, heat pressing and others to provide structured feedback loop for improved material performance and effeciency
